His Eminence Ratna Vajra Rinpoche will bless the Tibetan Peace Garden (adjacent to the Imperial War Museum) at 11.30 on Monday 14 May. This event is a part of Tibet Foundation celebrating the 15th Anniversary of the Peace Garden. You are invited and welcome to join us for this event.

His Eminence Ratna Vajra Rinpoche was born in 1974 in Dehradun, India, He is considered one of the highest qualified lineage masters of both the esoteric and exoteric traditions of Buddhist philosophy and meditation. He is a descendant of the famous Khon family in Tibet, which holds an unbroken lineage of great and famous masters for over a thousand years. He is the eldest son of the present 41st Sakya Trizin, the throne holder of the Sakya tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. During his childhood he studied under the tutorship of the Venerable Rinchen Sangpo. At the age of six, he received the precious Lam Dre teachings of the Sakya tradition for the first time. In 1987, when Rinpoche was fourteen, he passed his first major examination at the Sakya Centre, Rajpur, India. Two years later, he completed all his basic studies of different rituals and scriptures. In 1990 he entered Sakya College and studied Buddhist philosophy for many years. His many eminent teachers include His Holiness Sakya Trizin, as well as Chogay Trichen Rinpoche, Luding Khenchen Rinpoche & Dezhung Rinpoche. In 1998, he graduated with a Kachupa Degree, which is equivalent to a Bachelor's Degree. He teaches Buddhism and travels extensively throughout Europe, Asia, Australia, New Zealand and North America.
