On December 23rd 2013 Tibet Foundation had the honour of the presence of Khenpo Thupten Nyima, of Sakya Drogon Ling Monastery in Spain.

It was Khenpo Thupten Nyima who first blessed and consecrated the ground of the Tibetan Peace Garden in 1997, in preparation for the construction of the site, which sits nestled in the grounds of the Imperial War Museum in London. The esteemed Lama returned to the garden, despite storms battering the capital this December, and also blessed the new Foundation office, which sits close to the Garden.

It is with great anticipation that the Foundation looks forward to the 15th anniversary of the Peace Garden in the year ahead, as well as our continued efforts to continue with our work from our new office in Westminster Bridge road. With this auspicious blessing we hope to move forward in our ambitions and projects into 2015 in good faith.
