We are in the process of assessing damage following the 25. April earthquake

We are in the process of assessing damage following the 25. April earthquake. We have not yet been managed to contact our project-partners by telephone or email.

Our main project in Nepal - Walung Gunsa school - is in the far east of Nepal, around 400km from the epicentre. Some of our sponsored students were at school in Kathmandu, and will have been in school at lunchtime on Saturday. We are trying to confirm their situation, and will directly update their sponsors as soon as we know anything.

Large numbers of Tibetans are based in Nepal - in the camps around Pokhara and Kathmandu, and in the wider community. Tibet Foundation has launched an appeal to raise money to help these communities rebuild their shattered lives in the coming months. For more information and to make a donation, please click here
