Tibetan MPs visit the Tibetan Peace Garden

Tibet Foundation welcomed a delegation of four Tibetan parliamentarians from Dharamsala on its first visit to the Tibet Peace Garden today.

The group, headed by Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok, Deputy Speaker of the Tibetan parliament-in-exile, included Khenpo Jampal Tenzin, Khenpo Kada Ngedup Sonam and Ratsa Sonam Norbu.
The delegation was accompanied by Mr Sonam Frasi, Representative of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Mr Tenzin Kunga, the Communications and Advocacy Officer from the Office of Tibet in London.
A short prayer for world peace was led by Acharya Yeshi Phuntsok.
During the lunch hosted in their honour, executive director Dhondup Samten briefed the visiting dignitaries on Tibet Foundation's charitable work in India and Tibet.
