Dialogue for Peace Tour Sep 12, 2019 Visits Tibetan Peace Garden Tibetan Buddhist monk (and Member of Tibetan Parliament-in-exile), Ven Thupten Wangchen and his two companions have embarked on a Dialogue for Peace Tour to urge the EU, politicians and Tibet support groups to appeal for dialogue between China and Tibet. This tour is expected to run from 2nd September to 8th November, covering 30 countries in Europe. On 12th September, the tour stopped at the Tibetan Peace Garden in London, where the three members were welcomed by Dhondup Samten, executive director of Tibet Foundation. He thanked them for their visit and emphasised the value of world peace. Ven Thupten Wangchen then spoke of bringing light to the darkness of the Tibetan people and offered prayers for freedom, world harmony and the long life of HH the Dalai Lama. The team continued on its journey, with the good wishes of those present.
